ichi: Tokyo, Japan; I have been tattooing since 1998.
I put a high value on the passionate process as much as the satisfying result. My expressions are very concise. They are focused on the quality of line such as its precision and its artistic beauty rather than to pursue its photographical realism. Being a part of Japanese conservative culture, I am standing strong, and also I do not ignore the press of modern life or the social satire. I will keep sending my message clearly through my work to this chaotic disorder of information. However, my work would not be categorized as "traditional" Japanese style. They are very original, and I will call them "contemporary" Japanese style, if I may... Please see and decide for yourself.
